Do you cover every street in Camberwell?

Can a possum get into my roof through the chimney?
Yes. A possum can get into the roof through gaps around the roof, and the chimney is one of them, along with the joins where two roof sections meet. Older Camberwell homes often have tall chimneys and complex rooflines, so there are more spots to check. If you hear movement near the chimney or along one part of the ceiling, ring us, so we can remove the possum and seal the gap it used.
My house has an old timber floor. Do you check underneath it?
Yes. In an apartment or townhouse, German cockroaches can also come through shared wall cavities and pipes from next door. More than one treatment may be needed for German cockroaches, and it helps to know if the people next door have them too.
Why are there always webs on my porch and windows?
Webbing spiders build where insects gather, and porches, eaves and the frames around leadlight windows suit them well. A general treatment of the outside clears them, and plenty of people book one or two general treatments a year to keep them off. Those webbing spiders are what white tails hunt, and the hunt is what brings white tails indoors after dark. There is more about spiders on the spider control page.
Can we stay home during an inside treatment?
No. Once we have treated inside, people and pets need to stay out of the house for four hours, so sort out where everyone will spend that time. If you would rather not leave at all, an outside treatment on its own lets you stay. The treatment is pet safe and family safe, and deadly for pests, and you can ask us anything about it when you book.
Is pest control something I book every year?
Yes. A home has a general pest treatment one or two times each year, and many of our regular customers have one every six months. A general treatment deals with the everyday crawling pests around the house, spiders included. A possum in the roof or mice in the pantry is a separate job, so tell us about it when you call.
What if I am still seeing pests after treatment?
For the first week or two that is the treatment working, not failing. What you are seeing is activity being disturbed. If it is still going after that, ring us, because we would rather know.
